In Marvel’s latest Spidey and his Friends Amazing Friends game for junior, Swing Into Action, players take to the rooftops jumping and swinging across the city in a quest to hunt down lost items and battling bosses to make the city a safer place.
As they progress players encounter procedurally-generated missions that offer endless variety. With 3 playable characters: Spidey, Spin, and Ghost Spider, they use their unique skills to traverse neighborhoods from high up, dodging obstacles, taking out junk in their way, and picking up Spidey Tokens, When enough tokens are collected, players can trigger a Team-Up move that called in all friends on screen for a web-slinging boost. This will come in handy as players are challenged by 3 formidable boss battles against Doc Ock, Rhino, and the Green Goblin.
Bonus rounds have the player taking to the streets in blazing fast vehicles in a top-down driving bonus round, reminiscent of some old-school arcade titles. As placers race across town, they pick up rows of tokens and use their speed boost to tear through to the end in record time.
Developed by Workinman Interactive in collaboration with Disney, the game runs in any browser and included both desktop and mobile control sets. The engine is highly optimized to work on even the oldest of devices, keeping the game accessible and running at peak performance, no matter how crazy the action gets on screen.
