In Bubble Guppies: Play House!, pre-school players have the ability to decorate the Guppy household as they please. With a massive selection of furniture, appliances, decorations, and toys to use, players can place, rearrange, and interact with them all in a robust sandbox experience.
To earn new items for their home, players are tasked with completing a set of math-pattern puzzles that scale with their abilities, adapting to their skill level. The math activities are carefully designed to hone player sorting and pattern recognition skills, giving them little hints as they go. For each set of puzzles they complete, they get a new item to decorate their home and interact with. With 4 large rooms to fill, including a kitchen, with stock-able fridge, and plenty of snacks to go in it, a bedroom with toys, and living room with big-screen tv, basketball hoop and drum-kit.
The guppies themselves can be placed anywhere in the room, including on furniture, can hold and interact with items. Players can take an apple from the cupboard and place it in Nonni’s hands and watch him devour it in one bite. They can drag a new shirt and hat from the bedroom drawer to give Zooli a new look.. The quest for more decor, and experimentation of leads kids down a continuous path of practicing more patterns and upping their math skills.
