Nick Characters Clash with IO Gameplay
With IO style browser games rising in popularity and becoming viral hits, Nickelodeon approached Workinman Interactive to design a family-friendly, pick-up-and-play style multiplayer fighting game using popular Nick characters.
With Paper Battle, Workinman’s team of game developers and artists designed a state-of-the-art HTML5 browser game that merges the rapid and chaotic online-multiplayer gameplay IO games are known for, with elements of the hugely popular Super Smash Bros—a winning combination.
Taking their favorite characters into lively paper-cut-styled battle arenas, players must knock the competition off the screen. As the battle continues, players have the opportunity to get power ups to gain the upper hand. The last man (or Sponge) standing wins!
Paper Brawl Multiplayer is a multi-platform game available on Nickelodeon.com, and was developed to work on Apple and Android phones, tablets, desktops, across all browsers, and in the Nickelodeon app (available in the Google Play and Apple App stores).
