With long lines expected for the new “Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York” ride, Universal Studios needed a way to keep guests entertained while they wait. NBC/Universal tasked Workinman Interactive and Technomedia to create engaging game kiosks for the waiting area.
Workinman designed a suite of retro-inspired touch games based on comedic bits and characters from the hit show, and stuffed them with a ton of references. Each game was designed to be learned and played quick, with trendy graphics, comical animations and a lot of addictive gameplay. The perfect fit for Jimmy fans.
Jimmy Drive: Race through the streets of Manhattan, dodging oblivious pedestrians and nutty traffic. Jimmy Ski: Strap on a pair of skis and glide down a snowy Manhattan street dodging cabs and wiener carts.
Puppy Pickup: Grab hold of a never-ending onslaught of adorable puppies. Jimmy Match: An over-the-top card game featuring the Tonight Show cast.
Race Through New York With Jimmy Fallon opened in March of 2017 to limited audiences and overwhelming demand. In April the launch went public, coinciding with Fallon’s Tonight Show tapings at the theme park in Orlando.
