Our Privacy Policy

As Game and Toy App developers for the youth market, Workinman believes that Privacy and Security are a critical aspect of our business. We also feel that the more complex you make something, the less people will use and enjoy it.

Welcome to our Privacy Policy. Lawyers didn’t write it for us.

This policy was last updated: Jan 9, 2020.

1. What information is collected and why?

If you are just browsing our site, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about what pages are read and what search terms were used to find what. There’s also location data (country, state/province and city), what time of day, how long each page stays up. Your name and other identifying information is left out. We use this to know if our website works, and what content people read most, and how it was found. This helps people like Matt (the guy writing all this stuff) to know what people like reading and what to write next.

We have forms on the website that you can use to contact us. Any information you submit through those, obviously, are collected. Although that info doesn’t go to Google or anyone else, that goes only to us–mostly so we can write back!

2. Do you use cookies?

The Google Analytics system we use uses cookies. If you have ever used a Google service, those are the same cookies. We do not have direct access to the contents of these cookies and we can’t read them. We use cookies to manage your side sittings, which aren’t many. The data is anonymous.

If you prefer privacy from these cookies, turn them off or browse our site in Incognito mode. It’s easy and makes you feel like your doing something naughty.

Want to revoke our permission to use cookies? Just press this button:

2b. Do you eat cookies?

Sadly, I’m eating one now. I told myself I would stop after the new year, but there’s a delicious bakery across the street from our office.

3. Be honest. Are you going to sell my information?

No.

3b. Really?

Really.

We won’t sell it. We won’t give it away. We hold it under lock and key and only use it to communicate directly with you if we have a business relationship.

5. Will you try to sell me things?

If you contacted us as a potential customer, well yeah, of course we will try to win your business!
We will not be spamming you with annoying e-mail marketing. We do like to reach out personally to our current and perspective clients from time-to-time (4 max) a quarter just to check in and make sure things are working right and to see what new projects are coming down the pike.

6. What about security?

Our website uses SSL encryption so the information you receive and send is protected from interception. When you contact us, provide us with files, and generally do any business with us, we store that data on secured servers with strong encryption.

We are a geeks and we appreciate good security. If you have any further concerns about the security of your data, let’s chat about it.

7. Minors and COPPA

Our business-services website is definitely not intended for use by children under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to this policy

We have the right to change this policy at any time, so we recommend any concerned users check it regularly. Anyone who has submitted e-mail contact information will be notified of any changes.

If our business is acquired by another, your information may be transferred as a part of that acquisition. We will notify you of this, as well as give you an option to opt out.

9. Contact us

If you have any further questions about our policies, contact us.
