Workinman and Chromia Studios bring their highly-anticipated Blockchain game Mines of Dalarnia at Blockland Cleveland 2019.
With Blockchain technology on the rise, gaming on the Blockchain has become an increasingly topical subject for in-game security, economy and other features.
On December 9th, Workinman’s own Keith Mcullough and Justin Dambra had the esteemed pleasure of giving presentations on the benefits of Blockchain for gaming, as well as the technical implementation of Chromia to the attendees at Blockland 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio. The convention aims to empower developers, businesses, and governments with the knowledge they need to employ Blockchain technology into their systems across several different use cases.
Workinman and Chromia Studios hope to show the world the power of blockchain-based infrastructure with Mines of Dalarnia. In Darlarnia, you are tasked with making your way through treacherous mines looking for valuable resources. With those resources, players can upgrade their mining character to access deeper and darker caverns to find high value resources. Through the use of in-game tokens, players can buy, and subsequently put up for rent (to other players) mining plots, earning return on investment.
Mines of Dalarnia aims to demonstrate several benefits of the blockchain, primarily with infrastructure and commerce, but it’s main goal is to serve is a foundation of the potential of gaming on the chain, particularly with Chromaway’s superb platform and dedication to gaming.
Mines of Dalarnia breaks free of the stigma of highly-technical, under-polished blockchain-based games, offering a console-like action-platformer, with procedurally-generated levels (otherworldly mines, actually), hundreds of hours of hunting and collecting, and superb art and sound.
